How Our Network Works

A newly coated epoxy garage floor in a Loomis home

Who You Will Talk To

When you call or send a request, you are connected with an independent floor coating provider in our network. That provider is a separate business. They quote the job, schedule it, and do the work. Representationdrivers Floor Coating only makes the introduction.

What the Provider May Ask

Expect a few simple questions. They help the provider give a realistic range.

  • Is the floor a garage, basement, patio, or shop?
  • About how many square feet is it?
  • Are there cracks, oil stains, or old paint?
  • Has the slab ever had moisture or standing water?
  • What look do you want, such as flakes or a solid color?

Photos help. Take them in daylight if you can.

Questions to Put to a Provider

You are allowed to ask plenty. Good providers expect it.

  • What prep will you do, and how will you check for moisture?
  • How many coats are in the quote, and which products?
  • How long before I can walk on it, and park on it?
  • What fumes or odors should I plan for, and how will the space be ventilated?
  • Who is responsible if something peels, and is that warranty in writing?

Do keep pets and children away from the work area. Do not use the floor until the provider says it has cured.

The Decision Is Yours

Quote before commitment. Read the written quote, compare it with others, and take your time. There is no obligation to hire the first provider you hear from. Compare, then decide.
